Shares in Amlin rose after an investment bank raises its recommendation on the stock to 'outperform'
Credit Suisse Group has raised its recommendation on the Lloyd's insurer of spacecraft and yachts to "outperform'' from "neutral."
"We estimate that Amlin has in excess of £160m of surplus capital, equivalent to 30p per share," the bank wrote in a research note.
Shares in Amlin rose in early trading by 2.75% to 271p.
