Helen Chapman switches from Aspen Re to Lloyd's business Antares

Antares, the specialist Lloyd’s insurance business, has appointed Helen Chapman as risk manager in the legal, risk and compliance team of Antares Managing Agency (AMAL).

Chapman will support the development of Antares’ existing risk management and internal controls framework, ensuring compliance with best practice and Solvency II requirements.

She joins Antares after spending five years at Aspen Re, where she started as a senior internal auditor and then progressed to manager of the group risk management team.

She was responsible for leading the Pillar II workstream of the Solvency II project and was a key member of Aspen’s Solvency II Steering Committee.

Stephen Redmond, managing director of AMAL, said: “Helen brings with her extensive knowledge in risk management and Solvency II, along with strong managerial skills.

"Her expertise will make her a valuable asset to the team as Antares strives to reach its strategic goals and meet and exceed regulatory requirements.”
