Product to help brokers take advantage of the UK based hospitality market.

Anglo Pacific Consultants, the commercial underwriting agency, has launched a new high limit hotel and guesthouse product to help brokers take advantage of the UK based hospitality market.

The new product, available via APC’s on-line trading platform Quote Mac, provides protection for the full range of UK guest accommodation from small rural bed and breakfasts to large city centre hotels with sums insured of up to £10m per location. The broad range of businesses catered for also means referrals are kept to a bare minimum when brokers access the product.

The key features of the new product include: all risks cover including accidental damage; legal expenses included for £100 000; liability cover included for outside catering; £2,500 personal effects per guest; personal money and credit card cover; high package benefits for glass and money and business interruption; many optional covers available including household cover for owner or manager, terrorism and theft by employees.

APC director Ian Russell said: “The recent renewed interest in taking holidays in the UK coupled with an increased demand for accommodation for travelling executives has led us to completely redesign our hotel and guesthouse product.

"By taking advantage of the flexibility offered by our £10m limit, we are now able to offer our brokers instant access to cover for their hotelier clients regardless of whether they run a small B&B or the latest London boutique hotel.“
