Underwriter joins forces with JSW

Commercial insurance underwriter APC has developed a bespoke package scheme with Staffordshire-based JSW Insurance Services to provide a specialist insurance product for estate agents and letting agents.

Landlordsure, a trading name of JSW will administer the scheme in conjunction with APC. The new product uniquely provides letting and estate agents with a policy combining property, liability, legal expenses and professional indemnity cover.

Until now these insurances had to be sourced separately but, by providing a broad range of cover under a single policy, businesses can avoid multiple renewal dates with various providers.

The bespoke product has been designed and built to run on APC’s on-line trading platform QuoteMac and is now live following a successful pilot. APC is looking to provide further support for brokers that want to develop similar niche schemes.

APC underwriting director Ian Russell said: “We are delighted to be launching this scheme with JSW to help remove the hassle for letting agents and estate agents across the U.K when buying essential covers.

"Both parties have worked hard in developing this unique product and shown great commitment in giving this sector what it needs. This also demonstrates our commitment and desire to support brokers and help them grow their businesses, especially via scheme business.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
