David Williams joins company's syndicate management subsidiary's board.
Argenta Syndicate Management Limited (ASML) has appointed David Williams as executive director for claims and operations.
Williams joined ASML as head of claims from Xchanging UK Limited in August 2007, where he was a member of the senior management team and chief adjuster for energy and liability.
Andrew Annandale, managing director of ASML said: “David’s claims and process management expertise has already made a significant contribution to the company. I very much look forward to him bringing this and his wider expertise to an expanded operational role”.
ASML manages Syndicate 2121, which has underwriting capacity of £112.5m for 2008 and primarily writes non-marine property, marine and energy business.
ASML also provides managing agency services to third-party syndicates, Asian Marine Syndicate 1965 and Sportscover Syndicate 3334, which together have a combined 2008 capacity of £45m.
