Insure4Drones has been developed with Lloyd’s coverholder JRW Group
Lloyd’s insurer ArgoGlobal has launched an online portal that offers click-and-buy insurance products for the UK’s commercial drone market.
Insure4Drones has been developed with Lloyd’s coverholder JRW Group.
The new service will offer physical damage or liability cover with limits of £1m, £2m or £5m for single or multiple drones and operators.
ArgoGlobal aviation underwriter Scott Bradbury said: “The aviation market is highly competitive and opportunities for growth in traditional markets are limited.
“The nascent commercial drone sector represents an area of potential growth, however. By developing new products that reflect the unique risks, rapidly evolving nature of this technology and increasingly broad spectrum of professions that are availing of drone for commercial use, carriers can carve a niche.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
