Salon Gold managed by broker Henry Seymour

Underwriting agency Arista and broker Henry Seymour have expanded a scheme for beauty salons and freelancers to include medical malpractice.

The additional capacity for the Salon Gold scheme is provided by Lloyd’s underwriter Marketform.

Demand for medical malpractice cover from hair beauty practitioners has increased, said Henry Seymour managing director Dean Laming.

Arista schemes manager Andrew Ball said: “When Henry Seymour approached us about adding medical malpractice, we spoke to a number of coverholders to allow us to add it to the policy. The arrangement with Marketform is a reflection of the flexibility that Arista can offer brokers when developing bespoke schemes to offer clients.”
