Revised product adds new covers and expands existing ones
Towergate-owned commercial underwriting agency Arista has launched an enhanced version of its contractors combined product.
The new product, Contractors Combined Plus, includes 14 new areas of cover, including group personal accident, business interruption, property damage and terrorism.
Arista has also expanded or improved the areas covered under the old product. For example, it now includes cover for injury to working partners as standard and has increased the coverage limit for contents of show-homes to £50,000.
Arista chief executive Nick Watson said: “We carried out analysis to understand how our previous Contractor Combined product compared to others in the market and where there might be areas that could be improved or increased.
“The result of this work is the launch of the Contractors Combined Plus, providing all the covers a contractor might need under a single policy.
“This is a more efficient product, making it easier to administer. It also opens up cover options for a wider range of potential clients, making it a better product for our brokers.”
