Arista is to roll out products and target brokers in the North

Underwriting agency Arista will roll out several products in the next two months, including tradesman and contractors, and pub and hotel covers.

This follows the launch of a motor trade policy last month.

As part of its growth plan, Arista will target brokers in the North.

The company plans to write £200m of business, and create a network of 250 brokers within five years.

Lyn Carslake, deputy chief executive of Arista, said: “Riding on the back of our trading success through the Southampton, Redhill and Bristol offices, we are now looking to broaden our regional network to incorporate brokers situated further north.”

The company currently has agencies with 100 brokers, 90% of which it writes business for.

It plans to add between 30 and 40 more agencies by the end of this year.

CharlesEarle, who founded Arista last year, said that the company had met its targets to write £30m of business in its first 12 months.
