Arthur J Gallagher has announced the merger of its two US reinsurance broker subsidiaries, Arthur J Gallagher Intermediaries in New York and John P Woods in New Jersey, effective immediately.
The merged subsidiary, it said, would operate as Gallagher Re. The company will be headed up by Randall Jensen, current president of Arthur J Gallagher Intermediaries.
The company said the formation of Gallagher Re would improve its effort to build stronger brand awareness of its reinsurance broker operations.
