Broker acknowledged for 'service excellence'
Hoddesdon and Cheshunt-based broker Ashbourne Insurance has been nominated as a finalist in the FSB Hertfordshire Small Business Awards 2010.
The company has been selected as one of just four finalists in the Service Excellence category.
Managing director Peter Smits said: “This is a fantastic achievement and recognises all the hard work put in by everyone at Ashbourne.
"We pride ourselves on offering all our customers the best possible service and in this day of internet-based insurance it’s great to have our personal approach recognised."
He added: "It’s all well and good buying impersonally over the internet but in the event of a query or a claim you can’t beat personal service and that’s something Ashbourne does really well as acknowledged by this nomination.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
