Broker hires Nicola Miller from RSA

Hoddesdon and Cheshunt-based Ashbourne Insurance has expanded its commercial team with the appointment of Nicola Miller.

Miller has worked in the insurance industry for 10 years, most recently as a team leader at RSA.

Managing director Peter Smits said: “We’re delighted to welcome Nicola to Ashbourne. She brings with her a wealth of experience and she will be a great asset to our successful commercial division.”

Miller added: “I’m really pleased to be part of the Ashbourne team where I will be able to use my extensive commercial knowledge while at the same time interacting with clients on a daily basis either at their premises or on the phone."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
