Claims management firm specialises in home insurance claims

Following the failure of construction group Rok, claims management firm Aspray has set up additional call facilities aimed at offering help and advice to those struggling with existing claims.

Alan Barker, director at Derbyshire-based Aspray, said: “Rok had many home insurance contracts with several different insurance companies, which will now need to be serviced by another provider.”

“This shock announcement will be a bitter blow for those involved with projects that are already in the development stages, but we are setting up extra facilities to deal with anyone who has been affected by this latest turn of events, to ensure that their projects will be completed.”

Aspray is offering help for any property related insurance damage including fire, flood, burst water pipes, water leaks, vehicle impact damage, underground pipes and cables, drainage and damage from attempted burglaries.

Tesco Underwriting said this morning that it has already passed its new claims clients to other building groups following the Rok failure.

In October, Rok was chosen by insurer Ageas and Tesco Underwriting to provide building repair, claims management and validation services to Tesco Underwriting customers.
