Atrium Underwriting said its total managed capacity for syndicates 570 and 609 for 2005 would be £365m.
The company has reported improvements for mid-point forecasts for 2002 and 2003.
The 2003 initial mid-point forecast of 15% has improved to 15.5%, while the mid-point forecast for 2002 was improved from 14% to 14.2%.
The initial loss estimate from hurricanes Charley, Frances and Ivan was reduced from $34m to $25m.
Atrium said the current total net losses from the hurricane season, including Jeanne, were estimated at $29m.
