Claims of dishonesty made by Accident Exchange are rejected

Autofocus has rejected claims of dishonesty made against it by Accident Exchange in a stock market announcement this morning.

Autofocus issued a brief telephone statement that said: “Autofocus will not litigate its dispute with Accident Exchange through the press but reiterates that if any proceedings or applications are served on Autofocus they will be resisted vigorously and it is confident of success.

“Meanwhile, Autofocus continues to offer the highest level of responsible, independent service to the industry.”

Autofocus alleged it as many as 2,500 claims worth £22m could be affected by inaccurate information provided to courts by Autofocus.
