Van broker boosting HQ workforce

Autonet expands

Van broker Autonet Insurance Services is to create more than 260 jobs at its headquarters, according to a report.

The new hires will boost the Burslem-based firm’s 600-strong workforce and will include 60 apprentices, the Stoke Sentinel reported.

The hiring drive comes shortly after a majority stake in the firm was bought by Towergate investor HPS Investment Partners.

“Autonet is a growing business, it is one of the fastest growing businesses in the area and we need more staff to support that, marketing executive Donna Sturge told the newspaper.

She said most of the new roles will be in the customer service and sales departments.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
