Succession planning for Lord Sharman may take a year

Aviva has hired headhunters, said to include MWM Consulting and JCA Associates, to seek a replacement for its chairman Lord Sharman, The Times reports.

Aviva is prepared to wait more than a year. Lord Sharman is not under pressure to step down. The moves is “sensible succession planning”.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
