Aviva PLC's Standard & Poor's (S&P) A+/stable rating has been unaffected by the insurance group's £1.1bn bid for motoring service provider RAC.
S&P said the proposed acquisition was consistent with Aviva's strategic ambitions in the UK motoring services sector.
