AXA informs retired workers that important offer will be sent out to them

AXA, which employs 15,000 in the UK, is offering a deal whereby retired workers get a higher pensioners now for a lower increases in the future, the Daily Telegraph reports.

In a letter to pensioners in its UK Group Pension Scheme, AA says: “The scheme currently increases your pensions each year. AXA believe that some members may prefer to receive a higher pension now in return for lower pension increases in the future.

“As this offer may be attractive to you and is beneficial to AXA, which is responsible for funding the scheme, AXA will be offering you the opportunity to take this option.”
