AXA is to extend its Prospect Manager service to include medium-sized corporates and larger companies.

The service, which currently helps AXA's premier partner and prime brokers target potential small business clients, will be extended by the end of the year.

AXA head of broker development Colin Calder said AXA Prospect Manager had been running for the past year, with the service provided by marketing company Ignition.

Former AXA premier partners channel manager Andy Heap recently joined Ignition as a director with responsibility for Prospect Manager.

Heap was most recently head of customer solutions at Groupama.

Calder said the decision to extend the relationship with Ignition had been taken before Heap's appointment was known.

Calder said further developments of the scheme were also being planned.

"We want to extend it to looking at how to retain the customer, having won them through Prospect Manager," he said.
