AXA is set to achieve end-to-end connectivity with brokers via Imarket within the next two months.

The move would allow brokers to place risks directly using the imarket online platform. At present brokers using Imarket have only a link to AXA's e-trading platform, AXA Business Risk.

AXA head of broker development Colin Calder would not give firm details on the number and type products involved. "It may be only one product," he said.

Last month, AXA announ-ced it would be adding a suite of personal lines products to AXA Business Risk (ABR) during 2005.

A mid net-value household product, a holiday home/second home product and a product for landlords were recently added. Travel and pet cover will be added to the platform in the third quarter of this year.

The insurer has also recruited 12 e-consultants to encourage brokers to use the ABR platform.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
