Legal & General (L&G) crossed Backchat's path again last week when its press office was voted the best in a financial services company by members of the Financial Journalists' Group.
The L&G team was clearly delighted, while the Cornhill press office drowned their sorrows at coming a close second. Independent punched above it's weight sharing third place with Scottish Equitable. Norwich Union, award winner for the past three years, slipped to fifth place.
