Dan Broome joins Barclays from Lloyds TSB

Barclays Corporate has appointed Dan Broome as a relationship director within its insurance team.

Broome joins from Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets, where he spent two years covering the insurance sector.

Carl Boulton, head of insurance at Barclays Corporate, said: “We are delighted to welcome Dan to the team. Dan brings a wealth of knowledge of the workings of the European, Bermudian and North American insurance and reinsurance markets."

Broome said: “I am excited to be joining Barclays Corporate at a time when the bank is so active within the insurance sector."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
