Leicester-based broker Berkeley Burke has acquired central London financial advisors and insurance brokers Sheldon Monk & Co.
The SME specialist broker employs 100 people in central Leicester, said a report. Sheldon Monk, which specialises in advising entertainment businesses and SMEs on commercial property, employs 10 people.
The deal comes less than a year after Berkeley Burke acquired Romford-based Macartney and Dowie.
The business will trade under the name Berkeley Burke Sheldon Monk. Senior Sheldon executives Adrian Andruiser, Michael Green and Garry Hillier have become directors of the merged firm, said the report.
