Bermuda based insurers Platinum Underwriters and Renaissance Re have been subpoenaed for records relating to finite reinsurance products.
A grand jury subpoena from the US attorney for the Southern District of New York was sent asking for information from the two companies earlier this week.
Platinum and Ren Re said they would “fully cooperate in responding to the request.”
