Swiss Re in Taiwan Swiss Re has been granted a reinsurance branch licence from the Taiwan Ministry of Finance to operate a full branch in the country. The company opened a liaison office in Taipei in 1995. Swiss Re said it was the first international reinsurance company to operate a branch in Taiwan.(First published on 6 July.)
