Motorcycle broker Carole Nash has renewed its underwriting agreement with Ageas early.

The new multi-year deal has replaced the agreement the two companies signed in 2012.

Carole Nash said the deal will allow it to provide for a number of specialist schemes. These include vintage bikes, classic bikes, affinity schemes and similar schemes in the Republic of Ireland.

Ageas also provides Carole Nash with a dedicated, specialist bike claims service.

Carole Nash chief executive David Newman (pictured) said: “We have a long-standing relationship with Ageas and are pleased to be renewing our agreement early.

Carole Nash is currently experiencing record-breaking market share and in order to build on our position we have to work with partners who share the same core values as us.

“Our brand promise to our customers is ‘The care it deserves’ and we know that partners like Ageas put us in the best position to deliver on that.”

Ageas Insurance chief execute François-Xavier Boisseau added: “I’m delighted to be continuing our longstanding relationship with Carole Nash. Motorcycle was one of our first sizeable niches and it has become a profitable line for us largely because of our strategy of working with and drawing on the expertise of specialist brokers like Carole Nash to ensure Ageas meets the needs of motorcyclists with products they want supported by service they expect.”
