Biba, in partnership with ISS Damage Control, has today launched the new Biba Crisis Control scheme.

In the event of a loss occurring, the Biba member or the client contacts ISS which guarantees to arrive at the scene within four hours. The services offered by the ISS 'one stop shop' include:

• Electronics, IT equipment and data recovery
• Electrical control and power systems
• Mechanical manufacturing and process machinery
• Structural decontamination, restoration and redecoration
• Confined space decontamination
• Rope access (working at height)
• Document drying and recovery
• Dehumidification and mould control
• Contamination analysis and testing.

Shaun Doherty, managing director of ISS Damage Control. said: "The first hours of any incident are vitally important with fast action needed to minimise the damage and any consequential loss."

Steve Foulsham, Biba technical services officer, said: "We are very excited about our scheme with such a well respected disaster recovery company as ISS Damage Control. The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
