Biba head of technical services Peter Staddon, a well known face among brokers and insurers, is rumoured to be leaving Biba at the end of the month.

Neither Biba nor Staddon would comment. Staddon is still working for Biba, but market speculation is that he will leave in a few weeks.

Staddon joined Biba in 1996 to establish the technical services deparrment and played a pivotal role in lobbying Government organisations on broker issues, representing Biba at industry events and working with the media to expand Biba coverage.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
