If you see Biba's technical services manager Peter Staddon coming your way, put on your Wellington boots.

After his family holiday in Selsey near Chichester was marred by floods to the caravan site last week, Staddon brought the moisture back to Biba's City offices.

The offices were flooded after problems with the air conditioning on Tuesday.

So far, Biba hasn't notified its insurer (Axa), and Staddon does not know yet what the costs are likely to be. Three staff had to stop work, while measures were taken to resolve the problem.

The floods Staddon had to endure in Selsey were worse. Several caravans found themselves under four feet of water and bulldozers were brought in to ensure that the site was not completely flooded.
