I write with regard to the news item referring to Bishop Skinner, 'Stuart Alexander buys into boats' ( News, 8 December).
Our company, Bishop Skinner Insurance Brokers, in Newcastle is completely autonomous from Bishop Skinner in London.
We point this out as there is an inference in the article that we are part of the acquisition by Stuart Alexander.
