Group continues expansion plans
Bluefin Insurance Services has taken a further step in its expansion strategy by acquiring the general insurance business of Lakeland Insurance Services.
Windermere-based Lakeland Insurance Services has 2000 clients and specialises in guesthouse insurance, running a specialist scheme for this sector as well as providing SME and personal lines insurance. The acquisition significantly increases Bluefin’s footprint in Cumbria, where Bluefin has an office in Kendal.
Lakeland directors Eileen Holmes, Malcolm Dand and Ruth Dand and their team join have joined Bluefin.
