Shaun Hooper leaves AXA broking arm

Bluefin’s chief operating officer Shaun Hooper has left the business, Insurance Times can reveal.

The AXA-owned broker, which was earlier this year rebranded as Bluefin from Venture Preference, confirmed Hooper’s role has been made redundant.

Bluefin chief executive Stuart Reid said Hooper would not be replaced.

Reid appointed Hooper to his senior management team in February last year and was responsible for integration.

He was previously managing director of new markets at AXA.
