Industry veteran named non-executive director of broker and its network division
Former Biba chief executive Eric Galbraith has joined Bluefin as a non-executive director.
He will sit on the board of Bluefin Insurance and its broker network, Bluefin Network, previously known as Broker Partnership Services.
Executive chairman Stuart Reid said: “We’re delighted to welcome Eric to these boards. He joins a strong team and I’m sure his expertise in the world of insurance and will be of great benefit to us all.”
Galbraith said: “I’m honoured, delighted and looking forward to helping in the organisation. I hope I’ll be able to contribute to its success.”
Galbraith stepped down as Biba chief executive last year after 10 years in the post. Before Biba, he spent 30 years with Marsh Group and ran Royal Bank of Scotland Insurance Services.
