Personal lines motor business outsourced to WNS

WNS Assistance has signed a contract to outsource claims management for personal lines motor business with Bluefin Insurance Services.

The contract includes first notification of loss, replacement vehicle, and repair via a system-integrated national network of more than 300 repairers. Bluefin will also have access to an online real-time claims monitoring facility and its policyholders will benefit from a full uninsured loss recovery service incorporating legal expenses insurance.

“Following a rigorous tender process, WNS Assistance was selected based on the quality of its staff, customer service culture, and management information and IT systems,” said Bluefin claims director Dick Tucker.

“The deal ensures that our clients benefit from a prompt and efficient claims service while being able to access WNS’s management information relating to claims and customer satisfaction means that we can continuously monitor and improve the service our customers receive.”

“WNS is particularly delighted to put our core expertise to work for Bluefin, a leader in the insurance industry,” said Tim Rankin, WNS Assistance managing director. “As an aggregation of regional brokers throughout Britain, Bluefin’s decision to outsource to WNS indicates that the broker market is interested in adopting the very latest technology to benefit its clients.”
