Former Bluefin boss joins Cooper Gay

Cooper Gay has appointed Shaun Hooper to the newly created position of head of group operations.

Hooper is based in the group’s headquarters in London, with responsibility for co-ordinating and developing global operations to enhance client service, and to support Cooper Gay’s growth strategy.

Before joining Cooper Gay, Hooper was chief operating officer of Bluefin Insurance Services before leaving in February. Prior to that he was managing director of new markets at Axa.

Chief executive Toby Esser said: “The appointment of Shaun Hooper, with his excellent record of operations management, will significantly enhance our ability to maintain world class operational support for our clients and will provide the right platform for the group’s continued growth; I am delighted to welcome to Shaun to the team.”
