Highway has made changes to its board as a result of its move into distribution.
As the company is no longer solely a motor underwriter, it has separated the board meetings of Highway Insurance Holdings Plc (HIH) and Highway Insurance Company Limited (HighCo). The company will no longer have directors on the board of both the listed parent and the subsidiary.
Consequently, Judy Kellie and David Barker have stepped down from the HIH board but will remain on the HighCo board. Richard Gamble has stepped down from the HighCo board, while David Coleridge, John Stoker and Allen Thomas have left both boards.
Peter Salsbury and Jan Shawe have joined the HIH board in a non-executive capacity.
