Brit Holdings' directors have been snapping up shares as a result of the recent open offer and through options.

With the stock at 62p for most of last week, compared to its 52-week high point of 105.6p, the directors will be hoping the hard market will send the share price up handsomely over coming months.

Directors who have increased their holdings have included: chief executive Neil Eckert; executive chairman JO Welman; deputy chairman Clive Coates; non-executive director Glyn Macaulay; and chief financial officer Matthew Scales.
