Lloyd's syndicate R E Brown (702) is reviewing its London-based professional and financial risks underwriting.

The syndicate has appointed designated line underwriters, who will be responsible for all aspects of that class.

The appointments are:

  • Andrew Doré – professional indemnity (excluding US and Canada)
  • Paul Bermon – professional indemnity (US and Canada)
  • Francesca Bristo – directors and officers‚ liability, entity liability and warranty and indemnity insurance
  • Christopher Carter – bankers blanket bond, crime, kidnap and ransom

Since Andrew Doré will be spending an increasing amount of his underwriting time at Lloyd's, Julian Brown will assume day-to-day responsibility for London Service Company operational matters.

Ian West will continue to underwrite professional and financial risks.

In addition, he will work with Andreas Loucaides, who is to succeed Reg Brown as active underwriter at the end of the year.
