Coates & Co (Insurance Brokers), the specialist bus and coach broker, has merged with insurance broker Simon Brooke & Partners to create a group with premium income of over £10m.
Paul Coates, of Coates & Co, has been appointed a director of the enlarged Simon Brooke & Partners, based in Leeds.
Managing director Simon Brooke said: “This acquisition consolidates our position in the north as a leading transport insurance broker. We welcome Paul Coates into our management team and look forward to consolidating existing business and developing new business opportunities.”
