Capita to provide administration of Virgin Money's home and motor policies

Capita Insurance Distribution (CID) has agreed a five-year contract to deliver the administration of all Virgin Money’s home and motor insurance policies.

The partnership will enhance service delivery and complement Virgin Money’s growing range of financial services products.

CID will provide full end-to-end sales support and policy administration and processing services to Virgin Money’s insurance customers.

This includes a user friendly website, efficient back office processing and a high-quality customer experience that reflects the Virgin brand. A comprehensive programme will also be undertaken to enhance service provision to Virgin Money and its clients.

Mark Townsend, managing director of CID, said: “We are excited at the prospect of working with Virgin Money and building an efficient working partnership. Buying suitable insurance for the home, a motor or both can prove stressful for customers as they search for adequate and relevant cover for the best possible value. Working with Virgin Money, our aim will be to alleviate this stress by providing customers with a user-friendly process to help them search from competitively priced insurance products.”

Kieran Hartigan, managing director of Protection at Virgin Money, said: “We are very pleased to have established this partnership with Capita and are confident it will be beneficial to our clients. In particular, it will transform the way in which we do business, supporting our commitment to providing great value and a world class customer experience.”
