Motorcycle broker Carole Nash takes over Harley Davidson insurance scheme

Carole Nash has won a three year contract to broker motorcycle insurance across the UK and Ireland on behalf of Harley-Davidson Financial Services (HDFS).

Carole Nash has taken over HDFS Europe, covering the UK and Ireland, which accounts for around 7,500 policies.

As part of the new deal Carole Nash will enhance the policy offering. As well as maintaining existing benefits such as agreed value and inclusion of ‘helmets and leather’ cover for motorcycle riding accessories, Carole Nash will also offer as standard UK and European breakdown insurance and up to £50,000 or €75,000 motorcycle legal protection.

Carole Nash’s chief executive David Newman said: “This is a mutually beneficial deal for both companies who share much in the way of brand values and integrity. We gain access to the loyal Harley-Davidson® customer base and an extensive distribution channel while Harley-Davidson Financial Services is able to deliver a significantly enhanced offering to its customers.”

Stuart Farrell, Harley-Davidson managing director UK and Europe added: “We’re delighted with this agreement which will deliver exceptional cover for Harley-Davidson® owners. Equally important to us is the confidence we can have in excellent service delivery bearing in mind this is a product bearing the Harley-Davidson® brand. Carole Nash has long been the market leader, a position it achieved and has maintained by being exceptionally customer focused.”
