Carvill, a reinsurance intermediary in specialty business, has expanded further into the USA by opening an office in New York City.
Patrick Gonnelli has been appointed as senior vice president of the New York office.
Gonnelli has 12 years experience in insurance and finance and will be responsible for developing retrocessional business for Carvill.
Carvill already has offices in Atlanta, Bermuda, Chicago, London, and Norwalk, Connecticut.
