Lloyd's insurer Catlin has appointed Chris Stooke as chief financial officer of the Catlin group of companies.
Stooke will participate in the overall management of Catlin and act as chief financial officer for the Catlin group.
Chairman Stephen Catlin said: "We are very pleased to have secured the services of such an experienced and respected finance professional as Chris Stooke.
"His skills will complement those of the existing management team. Following our recent capital raise the Catlin group is developing rapidly and Chris's arrival will greatly strengthen management's ability to exploit our many opportunities to the full."
