Insurance-baced prize draw for country's most talented artists

The Catlin Art Prize has attracted a range of stunning art for this year contest.

Catlin Insurance backs the competition for graduates one year on from their degree exhibitions.

From the forty artists recommended for The Catlin Guide, eight are invited to take part in the Catlin Art Prize and encouraged to make a brand new collection of work to be exhibited at Village Underground, Shoreditch, 14 – 23 May.

A final overall winner will be selected by a judging panel and will receive £3,000 prize money – enough to run a studio for a year.

This year’s judging panel includes Polly Morgan, artist: Ben Lewis, art critic and documentary film maker; Alan Montgomery, head of contemporary art, Bonham’s; and Cathy Wills, collector.

The Catlin Art Prize will take place at Village Underground, Shoreditch, London from 14 – 23 May.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
