While Smart & Cook's lips remain firmly closed on the issue of its sale to AXA, Backchat has sent its spies to Harrogate to find out what on earth is going on.
Apparently there is an exodus of administrative papers out of Harrogate and they are heading towards London.
There have also been some celebrations. Apparently some of the senior management have been spotted out and about in town, fine dining and enjoying champagne.
