Lloyd's has appointed Celia Denton to the Council of Lloyd's.
Lloyd's said Denton had a wealth of knowledge of Lloyd's and was ideally suited to the position.
She has been in the industry for more than 20 years and recently retired from her role as head of general insurance practice.
