Rosh Choolhun, assistant director at Lloyd's broker The Chesterfield Group, is in the running for Biba's Young Broker of the Year Award.
The winner will be announced at Biba's conference in Manchester on Thursday.
Choolhun, who joined Chesterfield four years ago as a trainee broker, is one of three candidates short-listed for the prize.
For seven years Choolhun competed successfully as an amateur boxer, winning national titles and representing ‘Young England.' These days he helps to train East End youngsters with behavioural problems in the ring.
