Allianz Commercial boss to promote imarket and ProductWriter.
Polaris has appointed Allianz Commercial general manager Chris Hanks as chairman.
In a statement, Polaris said that Hanks has the "experience and stature within the industry" to further promote the take-up of imarket and ProductWriter.
Hanks said: “With transactions rising all the time via imarket, I am extremely pleased to be taking up this position at such a crucial time of imarket’s development."
“Polaris has been at the forefront of technological innovation in the marketplace, with increasing sales of its ProductWriter software, which is now a proven high volume transaction rating engine and product definition tool.
“The next steps for Polaris will be to ensure that usage of imarket increases by brokers, particularly through their software houses, and extending the range of services offered by the portal.”
