Manchester-based Tony Statham will develop broker relations outside London
Insurer Chubb Europe has named Tony Statham as financial institutions (FI) manager for the UK regions.
In his new role, Statham will be responsible for the management of financial lines business and the development of broker relationships for the financial institutions sector in the UK outside London.
Statham joined Chubb in 2007 as financial lines development underwriter in the insurer’s Manchester branch. He will continue to be based in Manchester in his new role.
Chubb UK and Ireland financial institutions manager Ralf Rebetge said: “Tony’s experience and knowledge of working with the financial institutions sector means he is ideally placed for this role.
“We have had a strong presence in the financial institutions sector, both in London and in the UK regions, for many years now and we know that brokers and financial institutions recognise the value of a local presence.”
Rebetge added: “Tony will continue to be based in Manchester and he will be very visible to brokers across the UK. Tony’s appointment to manage the UK regional financial institutions business demonstrates our commitment to this sector.”
